In 1969, I accompanied my oldest brother Ed on a trip to California from Ohio, in of all things, his Volkswagen. I was not old enough to drive at the time so what did I do?, I started taking pictures using my parents Kodak Instamatic camera they let me borrow for the trip. Like many of us, I advanced to getting my own Instamatic camera which was a big deal at the time. Realizing that I wanted more from photography than just a point and shoot camera I bought my first 35mm camera, a Voigtlander Vitessa range finder. After that camera was stolen from my car I bought my first SLR (single lens reflex) camera a Pentax SP1000. I used my Pentax throughout the late 1970’s then purchased a Canon AE-1 SLR which I used for over twenty years. In 2001 I purchased my first digital camera and have been using digital cameras ever since.

Over the years I have taken tens of thousands of pictures, some not so good and some really good. I’d like to share with you what I feel are some of the better photographs I have taken over the years.
